This video was created for the School of Education at the University of Hertfordshire, who wanted to promote their Connect common reading programme.

The brief was simple – two students talking about their experiences.

To add some interest to the video I incorporated ‘wiggly text’ Q cards created in After Effects, peppered in photographs from their experiences, and put some stock YouTube music over the top (to avoid any copyright issues).

Although it has quite a long run-time, the nature of the video warranted it. If those interested in the Connect programme want to know more, then they are more willing to watch to the end.

[Thank] you for the fantastic job you did. The video captures extremely well what Connect is all about and it has been brilliantly edited. Thank you so much for your support with the Connect project.
