Internal Communications at the University of Hertfordshire wanted a way to explain to new students starting in September where they needed to go to collect all their information before they checked-in to their Halls.

Rather than writing out all the steps, a video was quickly created in an afternoon, which stopped at all the relevant places.

Filming was done using an iPhone 6s on a steady cam rig.

Adobe Premier Pro CC was used to edit, with speed changes pushed to the limit.

Adobe After Effects was used to overlay titles and audio was taken from the royalty-free YouTube gallery due to time constraints.

The videos were incredibly well received on social channels.

[This video is] such a good idea, even something as simple as arriving to collect your room key can be confusing so this is great-good job UH
